  1. I'm willing to deal essentially any hitter not named Figgins, Fielder, or PAPI for a starter. pleast bear with my drunkednness
  2. im so angry... i missed the draft be cause the power went out sat school and i couldnt ge on til now so im getting drunk instead f***.
  3. i'll be there, who else will be?
  4. studying picks does nothing. i know a lot about college basketball and have never had a spectacular bracket
  5. They were ridiculous last night. Sonics looked awful on the defensive end.
  6. I meant Martin, I was thinking about Huggins because he essentially built this team. I don't think Kansas can win it all, they're usually the team that chokes it up in the Elite 8/Final Four. I was taking UCLA regardless of who was in their bracket because I picked them at the beginning of the year, but I'm a bit nervous about that. Most teams don't make 3 straight Final Fours, and they're a defensive type basketball team who usually doesn't go that far in these types of tournaments.
  7. My Final Four is: Louisville, Kansas, Stanford, and UCLA. I think the South is the weakest region, Texas is a weak 2, Atchley can't defend the Lopez boys, Memphis is the most putrid free throw shooting team I've ever seen, and they peaked in terms of playing way too early. In this section I have Oral Roberts making the Sweet 16, taking out Pitt and MSU. Pitt just reached their max potential, and I don't really see them winning against Oral, plus you have to pick at least one ridiculous game in the first round. Definitely the most intriguing The West region is extremely cut and dry. It's clear UCLA is far and away the best team and should have no problem winning it. In the East, I've got Butler taking out Tennessee in the 2nd round, Louisville taking out UNC in the Elite 8. I love how Louisville matches up with UNC. A few pretty nice bigs and solid perimeter shooting is how you beat them, and Louisville has that. In the Midwest, I have Kansas in the Final Four after beating Kansas State in the Elite 8. I really love Beasley, and Huggins is a damn good coach over there, I see them beating USC, Wisconson, and Georgetown. Wisconson is overrated, the Big Ten blows and their schedule was just mediocre, especially with the Big Ten schedule added in.
  8. Gimme CP3, Kobe, KG, or LeBron. Too close to call right now, but I'd have to swing toward the homer vote and say KG.
  9. hit me up with it, i wont be able to join til saturday though, i'm going to montreal in the AM
  10. San Diego crushed someone bubble last night, big win over the Zags. As for overall, I'm taking UCLA. I picked them at the beginning of the year, and I'm not changing it. I love how they match up with all the other top teams in the country. They've got 3 legitimate bigs who can guard the likes of Hansbrough, Beasley, etc., a solid post game with Love, and I don't think I've seen a back court as good as this in a while with Westbrook and Collison and can go against any back court in the country, and two electric wing players in Shipp and Mbah a Moute. Their only loss out of conference came by 2 at home vs Texas. It was Collison's second game back - and UCLA is simply a better team since then.
  11. Yeah, this had everyone confused. The date he's signed doesn't matter, it's the date he's release. Everyone was getting so caught up in the whole March 1st thing that no one really fully explained the rule. The March 1st was the date he needed to be released by, not signed by, but for some reason no one in any major sports media outlet made this information known.
  12. good game? i nearly s*** my pants when rondo yammed it in maxiells face this was the biggest regular season game i've seen in my life, and i wont lie i know a lot about celtics history and probably the biggest one since the 80s we proved we can beat the pistons now the only team im worred about is the cavs, we have no one who can go one on one with lebron in the last 2 minutes.
  13. davis was filthy tonight most selfless game ive ever seen allen play rondo was out of his mind perks was a beast i love it
  14. works for me
  15. that wouldnt work for me because i'll be on my way back to school, and our dorms dont open back up until 12, but if i have to make an autodraft list and miss a little bit of it, it's not a big deal, i'd be there for the 2nd half
  16. For weekdays: any time after 6ish For weekends: between 11am and 5pm
  17. I like it, it's extremely unique and gives a new challege and dimension to fantasy baseball. Keep those categories, I think they're great.
  18. Respect him so much more for taking a significant pay cut to stay here. Love you Randy. Here's to 24 TDs next year!
  19. Where else would the money go?!?! Certainly not charities or other beneficial things. Latrell Spreewell definitely wasn't trying to feed his kids if you know what I mean.
  20. Honestly, 25 might be out of my budget as of right now. I'm working over spring break, so if I make enough money, 25 will be given, but if I don't make as much as I'd like, I'd probably send more like 10, at least its something I guess. Break for me starts a week from this coming Friday, so I'll let you know either way at the end of that week what I will be sending you. Thanks for patience.
  21. Yeah you essentially got it. Dallas took his whole salary just to make this deal happen. He goes to NJ, takes a physical, and goes back home. That's living the good life, haha.
  22. Kidd is way past his prime, he was playing with two other scorers, hence his high assist numbers, his rebounding numbers are so high because of how bad of a rebounding team they were, and he just can't score the ball like teams depend on their elite PGs to do. He'll still put up nice numbers playing along side Dirk, Howard, and Terry, but I like Harris in their system so much more than Dirk. At least they ended up getting Wright though, Kidd and Allen would have looked just horrible for the Mavs.
