    People are out to get him in the sense that other players are turning up their intensity against him and the Celtics, so that in turn ratchets his up even higher (didn't think it was possible). To say people are bitter because they take an opinion (which you may or may not disagree with), IMO isn't right.

    Both sides of the ball as in both sides of the issue. I find his "antics" fun, and shows how much intensity the guy has, and I don't really think it's disrespectful. Is there a need for him to clap in a guys face all the way up the floor? No. Is there a need for a guy to crawl like a dog on the ground? No. I enjoy them, and it's a treat to watch the guy night in and night out, but I can absolutely see why hes getting called out on it. He did a lot of s*** last year, a lot of s*** this year. The difference between this year and last year is that this year its toned up this year because "people are out to get him because he's champ". They're not bitter, and they're not baseless because he's done the s***.

    The markets do matter though, and that's 100% why this is being made an issue. Although Garnett did do the same things in Minnesota, only the hardcore basketball fan would know that, the lay person goes by what the media shows them. Right now, the media is all over the Celtics, the media was never all over Minnesota. People are seeing Garnett more than ever now, and heavier criticism should be expected. If you don't like it, honestly, man up and ignore it I guess would be the best thing. I like hearing stuff like this because you get to hear both sides of the ball.

    ^^I agree with that, but Bruschi being old didn't really have anything to do with that injury. Anyone would have gotten hurt there, whether you were 15 or 75.

    I think Garnett is getting a bad rap from this year, but, he always did the same things in Minnesota but that was in realtive obscurity. He's doing some crazy s***, but it's nothing that he hasn't done before.

    When it rains it pours... everyones getting hurt, this year has been long and painful. Hopefully we can make something out of it, but probably not. Its sad that we still have a semi-reasonable shot at making the playoffs and I'm looking forward to the offseason and seeing how we shore up this defense.

    I also think Stewart is going to be bumming for carries the rest of the year with the way DeAngelo Williams exploded onto the scene a few years ago. Edit: A few weeks ago... I just wanted to keep it because it's one of the most monumental typos ever haha.

    I immediately thought suspension, but Coco is right, he couldn't stop himself. I still think he should be fined though. Welker could have gotten really hurt with wrecklessness like that.
