  1. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3728213 Neither Light nor Crowder suspended, 15k fines each.
  2. Yeah, I'm with the 2 above, Kansas is pretty overrated. All the guys into the draft, a less than stellar freshman class, and all this guys moving from the bench to the starting lineup. They'll still have a respectable record though, and IMO will be around a 8-13 loss team.
  3. luckily, i missed the draft...
  4. I get what Dojji is saying, but it's just impractical. Believe me, I've gone through many situations in my mind where we can get both, blah blah blah... You don't get rid of TFB for Cassel, no matter which way you slice it. The ideal situation would be that Cassel would stay and sit behind Brady until he starts to decline. But it's not gonna happen, some team like the Lions or Vikings will throw more than enough money at him. There are too many teams in need of a QB for him to sit behind Brady.
  5. UConn looked like s*** on the offensive end in the beginning of the second half. No ball movement, bad shots, forcing it to Thabeet, didn't like it. But they really turned it around after that. And god damn is Thabeet a monster. That horrendous call when he slammed it back down that guys throat and knocked him over when it was clearly all ball. Wow that was insane.
  6. I'll be happy if we score 40 and hold UConn under 90
  7. You guys are f***ed on Saturday. Thabeet matches up horribly with our 6'7 giants on our front line.
  8. big game against the raptors today (1230 ahhhh pats and celts at 1230 and 1)... i'm sure we'll see both teams come out looking for the kill early after last weeks meeting
  9. That wasn't my wish, I wanted them to have turmoil and blow the season, but thomas,, mobely and harrington will be solid for the knicks.
  10. Super hatin on Kemba, I still think he's behind Tyreke evans and demar derozan and Willie warren depite numbers...
  11. They better get rid of Randolph because a Harrington/Randolph clash is more than inevitable...
  12. I though Collison got fouled and he should have gotten 3 shots, but it was real close... Good win for Michigan.
  13. POB looked slow and lethargic, I expect him to be released at some point. Pruitt NEEDS more time back there, I've been calling for this for a while now, because he can be a really really good PG, he just needs to see some burn in real game situations, not against Will Bynum, a former Celtic reject who was having trouble hitting from point blank tonight. Iverson quit, didn't play defense on Rondo in the third quarter. Curry didn't even thinking about making a defensive adjustment on that high screen with Rondo and KG, they kept letting Iverson get rubbed off and letting Rondo get a step, instead of rolling under it and staying in front of Rondo or switching off of it. Pathetic performance from the Pistons.
  14. Clutch? Hardly.
  15. Huge game vs. the Pistons tonight. They're playing real well, beating the Lakers last week, and the Cavs last night.
  16. I like it until he gets hurt and we have to bring up an unready Buchholz/Bowden to start for a prolonged period of time. He's come of his only two 200 inning seasons missing major time. He threw 204 in 2002 and threw 23 in 2003. He threw 209 in 2005 and 135 in 2006. He threw 221 last year, so you do the math. I'd rather not spend money on an injury, and while those things are hard to predict, it's been a constant throughout this guys career. That being said, I'd take a 3.75-4 ERA behind Dice-K, Lester, and Beckett.
  17. 2000: 31-51 2001: 39-43 2002: 27-55 2003: 28-54 2004: 62-20 2005: 23-59 2006: 33-49 2007: 23-59 It's still early, but if I'm doing my math right, that's 270-390... .409 winning percentage. If it wasn't for one year where he ended up getting latched on in Phoenix it wouldn't even be close to that high. I had my TV on mute for much of the 4th quarter because I was tryin to get some work done, and I remember looking up and seeing Pierce at the line laughing at him and that other fool Randolph. And I hope he wasn't referring to Pierce, Garnett, and Allen because they all have numbers on him. Hopefully he wasn't talking about the guys on the bench either, I don't care how young they are, Q, but they just balled on your ass, and you completely s*** the bed aside from a few shots in the first half. Q-Bitch, you truly are the definition of a loser, and a piece of s***.
  18. Last night is the prime reason of why Davidson won't win anything this year. Curry goes off for 44, and they still lose by 4. They've got NO ONE behind him.
  19. I realize that, but looking at it realistically, of the bottom teams in the East, the Bulls are the only ones who play marginally good defense. Charlotte has a good 'points allowed' number, but that's more of a testament to how slow of a pace they play with. I feel like it's a race between the Heat, Bulls, and Knicks for the 8th spot, and they'll all be real close together around .500.
  20. I think they'll be much closer to .500 than that. Barring one bad loss to Milwaukee and a good win against Utah, they've been winning the games they should, and losing the games they should. I think once Steph gets out of there, they'll be able to focus more and play a little better, especially as Chandler (who is turning out to be a very very good player) develops more and finds a role. I think they can be an 8 seed if they can go out and get a legit point guard instead of Robinson.
  21. Very, very good win tonight.
  22. Scal wasn't bad starting out. Missed a 3, took a charge, and had an assist. I'll take that all night long out of Scal, as long as he's taking open 3s. I liked Doc's reasoning for starting Scal over Leon... he wanted to keep the bench in tact, and we're gonna need them if we want to win tonight.
  23. Tough game tonight. Knicks are playing some solid ball, KG is out with the most ridiculous suspension of all time. At least he'll be real fresh for Detroit.. I'm looking for Pierce to RUIN Q-Rich tonight, the guy plays no D
  24. I'm not sold on either of those teams. They lose 3 of their top 4 minute getters last year, Curry isn't going to be that much better than he was, especially with Richards gone. They've got a few good players over there left over from last year, but I don't see them as being impact players. As for Oklahoma, I don't think they're a top 15 team, Griffin is ridiculous but I don't think that we'll see them making any noise. They play a 3 guard lineup, which works sometimes, if you're real big up front and one of those guards has some size, but Griffin and that other guy aren't really that big.
  25. Curtis Jerrells is playing insane this year... granted Baylor has played against 2 complete cans so far, he's putting himself together an awesome year so far. I think he can make 2nd/3rd team All America if he and Baylor can make some noise with some upsets and go around .500 in the Big 12 and make the tourney.
