    joe is playing every game like a playoff game-- I dont like to even second guess or think about what they do, but it seems to me he is overusing guys and will live to regret this startegy in september. I love it, but it doesnt make sense to me and seems overly panicky.

    "quickly"???? come on, that's not fair. the poor girl has been defending this stiff since the beginning of the season. if anything her loyality bordered on delusional and she hung in there through constant insults and complaints about her boy. In my book she gets the annual Helen Keller Fan award for blind loyality.

    merloni had this happen one year and I always wondered if he got pissed. He was a trooper though and it appears youk is a trooper about it as well. This one must be brutual though.. Olerud coming back....pentagine should have been sent down well millar but that wouldnt happen.. It's a no brainer..

    yeah you're right it is a rule red sox employee manual states. section 1 paragraph 2: Team must carry a useless lefty whose main purpose is to f*** with the minds of the fans. Terry is to bring him where possible to make games close and keep TV ratings high. I also found this in the manual: section3.paragraph. team will also carry an overweight loud and grossly untalented first basemen for the season. He has to change his hairdo every month, talk all the time, and never get a clutch hit. He must be out of shape and fat. If he gets a home run or a clutch hit in the secoind half of the season he will be cut. so that explains a lot.

    no one in their right mind would want kevin millar in their town much less on their team. right now I would trade him for a one legged bat boy and a broken bat. but i dont think we'd get that.

    the guy is a disaster I am not sure why he is still on the team, maybe embree gave him the pictures he had of terry francona naked with sheep. That was the only reason embree stuck around for as long as he did, and the mantle has been passed to remlinger. good scouting by sizzlin on this guy...lol

    johnny pesky has experience but they arent letting him play. remlinger absolutely is awful, but if that part of your post can be ignored..good post lots of good points and welcome to the site.
