  1. It's mind boggling that they let this guy in the line-up...Olerud could hit better without a bat. The fans (except MC becasue he is the only real redsox fan around) are booing the crap out of fat ass though, and he deverves every f***ing boo-if you ask me. did anyone hear jerry and don laughing at the line that guy from sienfield said..."that his wife still has that new wife smell"...those guys could not stop laughing--it was hilarious. on topic, I saw (unbelievably) that some teams are interested in bellhorn...amazing.
  2. MC you're just wrong, and who the hell are you too judge other fans, just worry about yourself. You can be a redsox without having blind faith, or agreeing withg everything. Lighten up, son. That's the fun of following team for some poeple. Personally, I like terry but I know he isnt the best, he is the among the lowest paid managers in the league--for a reason, even with last year. What pisses me off is sanctominous little pricks like you that think look down on anyone who questions anything. It sounds like Bush saying if you're against my issues like the war, you're not patriotic. Newsfalsh: You can love the sox without getting hard for curt schilling or Terry francona. And as aside as far as millar is concerned, I though he wasnt playing as much, suddenly he is starting all the the time, and man, he f***ing sucks.
  3. hey rocketrules..welcome, and what a beginning. that is the best post yet!! keep 'em coming. I was thinking the same thing, if he spent as much time working on his as he does flapping his and apparently chomping on food, he and we would better off. Dont get me wrong he delivered last year and all, but I cant even imagine what a creep he must be off the field. Man, those guys must just cringe every time he opens his f***ing mouth. STFU and pitch..priceless.
  4. the whole thing is stupid--it is another example of political correctness way out of control..parents find this offensive? christ, maybe if they spent more time with their kids they'd see that a lot more goes in a day than seeing the word suck on a T-shirt. Besides the yankees do suck and that's an indisputible fact. soon booing will be banned, and God forbid...the ******** chant at hockey games and football games when there is a bad call. yankees suck...yankees suck..hmm, that feels right. As a matter of fact next time I go to Fenway I am going to wear my "Jeter Sucks A Rod" or Posada is a little bitch shirt.
  5. fat ass millar, not fat ass schilling.
  6. wow, that's great he had velocity in the first inning--good news for a closer...but not good news for a guy is supposed to be ready to be a starter. speaking of fat ass, it was pointed out to me that in the last seven games we were 3-0 when that tub of s*** is on the bench and 0-4 when that lard ass is in the lineup.
  7. the whole road trip is one that is best forgotten. the sox may have more home games but most against AL east teams, which they have an under 500 record against. the thing about the schedule is a slight advantage I suppose but if thats what your hanging your hat on, that's not much. We best start winning and my advice is to forget talkking trash to yankee fans and concentrate on kicking some ass.
  8. Brent that was an amazing transformation from one post to another. I have been accused of being negative and this is why. This road trip is thankfully over, because frankly we played like s***. we are tremendously fortunate to still be in first. and I am afraid it will short lived. There are those who say we have a better schedule than tth eyankees..yeah how so, we cant beat the s***** teams. Schilling was no surprise, why did anyone think he'd do any better than he did out of the bullpen. He sucks. Only now we can have him suck for 4 or 5 innings as opposed to one or two. Luckily he can only suck every 5th game and not every night. Losing a series to the royals cant be dismissed as anything else thatn embrassing. we better take it out on the tigers.
  9. man, talk about spin. who cares if you cant get the win. we looked like s*** in detroit, in Anaheim and now in KC. starting pitching or not. we have to find a way to get our f***ing bullpen going., or it's curt-ains.
  10. um, the worst team in baseball beat us last night.
  11. they used in some mop up stuff and that hurt his ERA I like the guy and he is a key guy for us.. he ceratinly has been a bright spot in the othereise shaky world of our bullpen..He had some keyt starts there when some guys were injured and in long relief he has been great.
  12. boy, gammons really blew the lid of this story. what a scoop. oh wait a minute no one has been caught and not one star.. wow, he really has that inside info.
  13. yeah, I'll believe it when I see it.. but for now ...hahaha
  14. hmm, that would be huge for them, he'll love their dome.
  15. I'll give him this, he know's he stinks. I'll also say that he is handling it in the best interst of the team, so he gets points for that. Onward and upward.
  16. sizzlin I agree wholeheartedly with your post about the bullpen even remy is baffled sometimes, and for the most part guys like jerry can at least make something up--but there are times where he is scratching his head as much as any of us.
  17. okay, sizzlin.. but if bronson falters papelbon goes in the rotation.
  18. you guys should be hair stylists.. this a lot about nothing. However, sizzlin is right the obvious juice heads like bonds, sosa and sheffiield and giambi are monsters, most guys aren't stupid enough to go from puny warning track hitters to roid's animals...it's too obvious, alittle help though isnt beyond the imagination for anyone johnny included. however, he's too cool for that and the MLB has apparently cleared him anyway.
  19. papelbon has proven he is a quality major league starter (yes in only three outings) and there is no reason to take him out of the rotation---wells's suspension, miller's injury, there is seemingly a long period where we will need him.
  20. noonanberg, you're a dumbass. Edgar proved again today why we got him, and if you want a shortstop with only 6 erriors and a 255 batting average you are more than welcome to root for the angels. But here in redsox nation, our shortstop is edgar.... clutch home run..
  21. you hope we re-sign millar?????????? just what on earth for....there are enough hot dog vendors at fenway already.... how can you possibly say something like that after watching him outthere this year.. even if HE paid the sox to play for them I think it would be a bad move.
  22. absolutely, I think he has to stay he has been better than any of them...the guy is fanatstic.
  23. papelbon has done and is doing better than anyone else lately. i dont see how you can omit him form the rotation.
