  1. R/G - 5.28 R/G - 4.43 Which one is the Blue Jays?
  2. He plays for the marathon too often, I think, but he is very effective at using his relievers in the postseason.
  3. R/G - 5.28 R/G - 4.43 Which one is the Blue Jays?
  4. He's been a pretty effective manager in the postseason.
  5. The same Angels we have swept the last two times? We have a substantially better offense, and allow fewer R/G than they do. This isn't as one sided as everyone claims.
  6. Burnett is just pitching very good right now. You can't ignore his other nine years of average pitching. Let's not forget he was the image of suck for the first part of the year. The Blue Jays are a good team, but they don't have the bats the Red Sox do. Not even close.
  7. In other words, they are hot right now. Why the f*** are you freaking out then, because the Red Sox are struggling against them?
  8. Burnett is defintely not having a career year. That proves that you judge pitchers by wins, which proves how limited your reasoning is. Dude, what teams don't struggle against ace type pitchers. The Red Sox beat Lackey., K-Rod, and the rest of that Angels staff countless teams in the playoffs. That just proves how much of a tiny sample size you are using to validate your point. The Red Sox have three pitchers that can make other hitters look just as bad. Oh, and all they've done is score more runs since he's been gone. Probably not causation, but rather the fact that this offense has always had a premium offense. Jason Bay has been about as good as Manny has, but the Red Sox have added David Ortiz, Jed Lowrie, a much more tolerable Jason Varitek, and have got what Manny produced in Jason Bay. Yeah, but last year Ortiz wasn't playing with constsnt clicking in his wrist,.
  9. Jason Varitek called for 34 straight fastballs. He's overrated in that aspect. FASTBOL PLZ!!!!!
  10. What the f***? No, I was saying that the General Manager would play a role in his team's picks. Like Billy Beane does in Oakland. Not all of them, but Beane knows the players enough to make an argument why they should pick him.
  11. I don't get how you can shred Cashman for drafting so poorly, which he does, but want him to keep the pick. To make your argument worse, you actually think that the draft pick has comparable value to a player that has already played at the MLB level, despite the fact that its not a good one in Kennedy. Given Cashman's draft track record, he's more likely to draft the next CJ Henry, rather than Joba Chamberlain. I think the Yankees f***ed up, and should have traded for Santana, but he wasn't saving this godawful team.
  12. Watch those two videos. Tell us how they are remotely similar.
  13. http://mlb.mlb.com/stats/individual_player_gamebygamelog.jsp?c_id=mlb&playerID=475022&statType=2 37 walks? Wow...

  17. Overbay hits a two run HR to take a 6-5 lead over the Twins.
  18. The Cardinals rotation was a bunch of s***, they lucked out big time.
  19. Please bat right handed, Varitek.
