  1. No, it isn't. Would you rather have a future domiant starter (I believe Hughes can be domiant), or Russ Branyan? That's what Duncan's upside is.
  2. They don't. The show sucks. Everyone knows it. Now quit being so f***ing biased, and actually laugh at your teams pathetic network.
  3. Giambi didn't gradually work his way up. After his HR against the Pirates, he rocketed back. I don't know what blind world you live in. Frankly, I could care less if Jason is juicing, you're points aren't valid, and that's why I said "you lose". Oh, and by the way, MCHammer tore you to shreads. I have more of a belief that he's on steriods after weighing your and his arguements.
  4. Machado isn't a great player. He'll be a good utility player, but you're nuts if you think he can play everyday.
  5. Spin Doctor alert. I believe your best prospect is Phillips Hughes, the majority of Yankee analyist believe it is Wang, because he is producing right now. No where did I say Phillips Hughes sucked. He is injury prone though.
  6. I believe A-Rod is an MVP. But come on, I'm a Red Sox fan, and I put up a better arguement than you did, and I did it half-heartedly. Do you expect people to be that dumb, to believe A-Rod is better than Ortiz, because he is better in the field? Well, you seem to be that dumb, I mean your name is "Optimist". How could you be optimist about the Yankees chances?
  7. Phillip Hughes. Don't start a prospect discussion. The Red Sox farm system is way better than the Yankees. Just concide that fact.
  8. NESN sucks too. I didn't say it ruled. The best show on NESN is probably that Charlie Moore guy, and since no one wants to watch someone fish, no one watches it. The YES network's best show is Yankeeography, which if you watch, you'll probably commit suicide. I give the advantedge to NESN, because they believe they aren't a TV network, they just show the game, the highlights, and that bad fishing show. Whereas, the YES network, has Kids on Deck, which blows more than Liberace in a gangbang, Yankeeography, and that pathetic pregame show. Edge: NESN.
  9. I assumed correctly didn't I? Ah, I got it. You're no worse (in fact you are worse) than any of the Red Sox fans you call biased on here. You're just as biased as they are. You won't concieve the fact that your "best" pitching prospect actually sucks.
  10. Amen, YES is the worse channel ever made. I'd rather watch Paid Programming on NESN, then anything on YES.
  11. Actually he did. You just contridicted your whole arguement. You lose.
  12. No, I didn't say the Rays hit him well. I said a free swinging team, with speed is usually dangerous against a contact pitcher, who's doesn't strike guys. I had no idea Wang had faced the D-Rays more than once. I was completely oblivious to that stat. Thanks for pointing it out.
  13. I'm sorry, I don't get the YES network pregame shows.
  14. You failed to mention that the YES network, was comparing the two. You only said that the league hit Wang at .235 without the Devil Ray stats, you neglected to mention what the Rays hit against him. I said, that it was irrevelant on how Wang pitched against the Red Sox, the White Sox, or whoever, he was facing the Devil Rays and that was all that was relevant.
  15. I SAID THEY THREW THEM OUT! If you throw out his stats against the Rays, then the league hits hit at .235. That's better than .350 correct?
  16. Thank you, you just said it yourself. That's my point from the beginning, on why Wang would have a bad start.
  17. Another point. They threw out the Devil Rays stats to make Wang look better. It's what all hometown broadcasters do. That's like saying this General is good because he beat Germany, and Italy, but you neglect to mentioned he was whipped by the Japanese
  18. Besides the Devil Rays is irrelevant. He is pitching against the Devil Rays tonight, so no one cares about his average against other teams.
  19. True, but wouldn't the Red Sox as well? Balance at the bottom of the order. Sheffield's getting older, Matsui's in his walk year, Jeter's a leadoff hitter. Besides none of these guys are even in the league as A-Rod is. You misconstrued what I said. I said that the Olerud and Petagine, are better options then Escolana, and Phillips. You're the one who said that A-Rod could be replaced. Neither player is replaceable. You're absoulety correct that Mueller is a great fielder, he's better than A-Rod (statsically). But offensively the two don't match up. I don't really see your point, could you elabrate a little more? Great points, by the way.
  20. Reason to be Optimistic: The Red Sox are better than the Yankees.
  21. Yes, and if he doesn't see it, he can't respond to something he can't see.
  22. Like I give a s*** if I'm your ignore list. Wow, you blocked me, I need to call Dr. Kevorkian. That just means I don't have to read your pathetic responses.
  23. Thanks Detective Dipshit. I didn't say they would take over and do what Ortiz would do. I said they'd do a MUCH BETTER JOB then Escolana or Phillips would do for Rodriguez. Apparently, you can't even buy a damn clue.
  24. Probably about 7-10 games lower than where we are now. Ask yourself the same question about Rodriguez though. You can't throw out his credentials because he is wearing pinstripes. If you're a fan of the game, you can objectively look at it, unbiased. Besides Ortiz didn't win the games, the team did, and to be honest the Red Sox are a better team than the Yankees are. In a way, that kinda hurts Ortiz' shot. But I'll say it again. If A-Rod doesn't make the playoffs, he doesn't win the MVP.
  25. He's in a funk, he'll get out of it, all great hitters do.
