  1. Bonds mimics Coco's AB, with a K of his own. That 3-1 pitch should have been in McCovey Cove.
  2. Bonds slowly grounds to second base, Belliard takes his time fielding the ball, and throws to short. Zimmerman throws to 1st, as we see Bonds walking into view. Whole thing takes about ten seconds.
  3. BC Youkilis - .888 + .20 = .908 CF Helton - .812
  4. Excellent work. Just one quick comment. I have the Yankees winning the wild card. Detroit, really isn't in any position to fend off the Yankees. The pitching is really fading, and the offense is starting to slow. They better get healthy quickly, if they want to continue to fight off the Yankees.
  5. It's arguable that Mike Lowell was most valuable player of the deal in 2006. (Factoring in defense, of course.) Beckett's really good, but Hanley's producing close to a 1.000 OPS, at a position where only A-Rod would touch those kind of numbers. I don't think he's the next Rodriguez, but he looks like a perennial .900 OPS threat. Think about this, Hanley has a WARP3 of 10.0, with an FRAA of -6. He's got the physical tools to be a good defensive SS. If he ever develops that ability, he'd be without question the best player of the deal.
  6. I think it's because Francona would use him against LHB.
  7. Why did we non-tender Bradford?
  8. YAY! LUGO GETS THE MOST AB'S LEADING OFF, BUT HE HAS WHEELS!!
  9. Becuz Tito is the greatest manager in the history of baseball?
  10. Why the f*** is Lugo in the leadoff spot?
  11. The SmartBallers taking another ass kicking. I guess Ozzieball looks great, when you have four SP's with sub 4.00 ERA's covering up your idiocy.
  12. The Rangers weren't offered a top prospect by any team. The Brewers offered Gwynn, Jackson, and a third prospect. The Red Sox offered Gabbard, Murphy, and Beltre. I still don't know what the Yankees offered the Rangers.
  13. He was talking about the Rangers.
  14. From Keith Law, sizing the deal up.
  15. Jenkins ends it with a line drive HR. Good job, Yost. I knew it was hard.
  16. If I see another sac bunt.....
  17. Holy s***. Milledge robs Hall of the game winning hit.
  18. Hell of a game in Milwaukee. Bases juiced in the 9th, with Hall coming to the plate. 2-2, game.
