  1. I read on the Yes board that the "break your heart" guy was Mo Rivera. :dunno: I guess you just can't tell based on what the player looks like. Ryan Franklin is the same size as me - and I don't even work out or anything.
  2. haha. Just read it all. All 46 pages! Pretty funny stuff. They seem like good folk over there. Though they are really tough on Ozzie while at the same time calling Boston racist for not liking Everett. :dunno: They are a little cocky for being White Sox fans, but I guess that comes with having the best record in Baseball. They seem pretty confident with Garland tonight. Suckers.
  3. Did the WS announcers yell in unison "PUT IT ON THE SCOREBOARD, YEAH!"????
  4. don't be up Timlin. Don't be up.
  5. *******. It was MINE!
  6. I am so glad I don't have to hear those White Sox announcer bastards this weekend. They really are the worst I've ever heard.
  7. Except he used the small player pictures just to piss me off. Yes, now we all want to be known as Smokey.
  8. You have to think that if 50 people tested positive, and the tests are random, and there are only 30 teams, that some players from Boston and NY (well, almost every team) have to be involved.
  9. Well, the Yanks stunk up the place, but won. A five game lead still feels pretty good.
  10. I think I can smell Yankee Stadium through my TV set. :dunno: Oh wait. It was just a dead rat behind the oven.
  11. Another dinger by Delucci. 2-0 Rangers.
  12. Jeter leaves 2 more on base. Third inning, 1-0 Rangers.
  13. When was that??
  14. Mr. ".400 with runners in scoring position" Ks with the runner in scoring position. Nice job Sheffroid.
  15. Well, no game tonight so might as well watch some scrub teams play in NY. Texas up 1-0 after 0 outs in the first. Wasdin vs Proctor
  16. couldn't watch it twice. But if you want to, it's here http://newyork.mets.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/news/article.jsp?ymd=20050811&content_id=1166603&vkey=news_nym&fext=.jsp&c_id=nym
  17. haha. me too. Tonight's win was one of the "feel good" wins for the entire season. Thanks to the World Champion Red Sox!~!
  18. What the hell more do you want???
  19. Am I just completely drunk and high, or is the ESPN broadcast just really engrossing tonight. I switched from NESN at the end of the 6th and I'm pissed I missed the early innings. Berman is really good tonight (at least for the last inning or so).
  20. I'm here. The rest are all front runners.
  21. ... and speaking of player pictures, how weird does this look?? http://i.a.cnn.net/si/images/baseball/mlb/players/5484.jpg
  22. It came out great. I hate the small pictures of the players like on ESPN. CNNSI is the way to go for player pix. Arroyo Ks the side!
  23. It will be interesting this weekend with Chicago. Are we just hitting well against crappy pitching, or all pitching? :dunno:
  24. Cool. Anyone can use it if they want. You made better use of the "five images" rule than I did with the logos. Cornroyo is BACK tonight. 5-1! 6th.
