  1. Well, annoying loss. We got Papelbon going tomorrow and Timlin will be fresh. I still call a split.
  2. DAMON! I bet it looked cool.
  3. Ahh. Go f*** yourself you s***** Red Sox "fan".
  4. I'll do ya one better. I'm taking my pants off.
  5. And what's with the EEI broadcast? Every 5 minutes the volume goes down.
  6. I thought Fox showed 4pm Saturday games. What the hell?
  7. Ouch. That Angels lineup is batting .333 against Arroyo.
  8. Bad News Bears? Meh, just woke up. Go Sox! 1-0.
  9. If I win the tickets, can I sell them on Ebay??
  10. Oh yeah... This time in Chicago. Should be a good series. Go Sox and your ******* announcers!!!
  11. I just think picking on Millar is easier than coming to grips with the fact that our pitching sucks. A good example is when people complain about hitting into double plays when we score 6 runs in a game. Nobody would care about the double plays if the score was Sox 6, Detroit 1. And don't totally get me wrong. I want Millar to hit better (his defense has been the same for the last 3 years). I want him to pull out of it. And if there were a better sollution, go for it. I'm not against Olerud or Petegini at all. Sure, put them in. I don't care - BECAUSE WE HAVE ENOUGH OFFENSE.
  12. No, it sure did. So did Graffinino's. But the 10 runs the bullpen gave up hurt worse last night. (L 13-4) Wells and the 5 run first and 6 total runs in 4+ innings hurt worse on Wed. (L6-5) The grand slam the bullpen gave up on Tuesday wound up not hurting anything. (W 10-7) And the 4 runs the bullpen gave up after the 7th inning on Monday hurt us more. (L 6-7) In those last four games the pitching has let in 35 runs (8.75 runs/game). The offense scored 23 runs in those games. That's an average of almost 6 runs per game (5.75 runs). So, no. It's the pitching.
  13. Wow, dude, that's a really cool thing to do.
  14. Exactly. Hell, we have the best offense in the league even with Millar not producing. We scored 4 runs last night and lost by 9. If this season goes south, it will not be Millar's fault. It would be that our Ace and Closer went down with injury.
  15. Dude, you hate every player on the team. Is there a single member of the organization you don't hate? http://www.talksox.com/forum/search.php?searchid=26794
  16. ahh. Don't you guys worry. We'll score 5 runs tonight. Colone always tires after 5 innings.
  17. Actually, you are correct. I have a high speed connection and it's not streaming. I'm sure they'll fix it before too long.
  18. I can see the Sox game on MLB.tv. It's at the bottom of the list.
  19. well, it's maybe a 2 hour drive to Nashville from here. If that.
  20. And you're in Tennessee? If so, that's like an hour from ME!
  21. Who was it that said the Yanks will only win 87 games this year? It's looking pretty good right now.
