    Orsillo just reported that Damon left the game with a contusion (sp?) on his knee, and is now listed as day-to-day. Lets hope this doesnt turn into anything worse, as the Red Sox already have enough injuries as it is.

    Interesting game so far, Malaska is just making his first appearance now. Bronson was decent in his outing. He needs to pitch better to win that 5th starter spot in my mind.

    Yea, I think this was realized a while back by the management and thats why the deal was not made, or an attempt at the deal was not made. Welcome to the site by the way. I hope you stick around through the season.

    They're in first place with a 4-0 record. Is this the real deal or is it just another sprint out of the gate, like the Royals had last year? Personally, I see it as a mix. While there is no chance in hell that the Tigers will win the division (err, at least I dont think there's one), they will certainly do better than before. Maybe I-Rod was the spark the team needed to get out of the gutter?

    I may try and see if I can get some tickets from a scalper outside of the park today. Its only a short T ride, and it may be worth it. Should I?

    I use baseball-reference as well. Sometimes I just sit on that site wading through all the stats they have, its amazing.

    I = going to be at the game. I'm glad too, because I have yet to see Pedro pitch live, despite the fact that I've gone to 30 or so games since he was acquired. (actually, maybe more than 30).

    And the game goes on.... You'd think at least one of the teams, both having great offenses, would score SOMETHING after a while. This game isnt one of offensive highlights for sure.

    Sox jump out to an early lead. I'm very eager to see Wake start pitching. I want to see him make up for the game that shall not be mentioned.

    Wow 406 (its quicker than typing fourzerosix, my apologies for butchering your name), those are some awesome stats. I never realized that about Pedro. Maybe we should be cheering for him to tank it on one game, so we can get 4 amazing outings afterwards.

    Thats awesome. I always wondered where scalpers got their tickets from? Season ticket holders who sell to them at cheap prices? Or are they season ticket holders themselves? Or do they just forge the tickets?

    Try to get it from that guy who is always right oustide the T stop (fenway) muttering "tickets, tickets" under his breath. Sometimes he's in the parking lost across from the stadium. Its just that I've never seen anyone buy any from him, and I fell bad.

    Damon just impressed me a great deal with that great homerun robbing catch he made. And also, what the hell is up with Bobby Jones? First pitch for a homerun is not the best way to introduce yourself to RSN, now is it? Lowe pitches well until late in his outing, where he was obviously struggling for control. Although the game is still going on, I saw a lot of high points there. Thinks (finally, its been what, 3 games!) are starting to mesh it seems like.

    A note for rcn digital cable users, what channel is the game on for you? I cant find it anywhere, and the channels that they say onling (8, 3) show up as blank. Any ideas?
