    I think he's playing more for the present, and not so much for the future, which is certainly good when your team is down 3-0 in a best of 7 series. THroughout the season he's made some pretty stupid changes with an eye towards future games, and he's seemed to stop that now.

    I'm scared about Schilling. He's pitching hurt in a game in which we face elimination. That's never good.

    That 1-0 count where he drew X number of throws at first, and where that ONE pitch lasted 10 minutes was satisfying and excruciatingly painful at the same time. I was pretty bored.

    1) I'm glad schilling won't have the opportunity to aggravate his inruy and to make things worse for next season. He needs to have the surgery ASAP and to recover fully. 2) The postseason is a whole different ballgame. Anything can happen really, and I bet you Lowe will have a good outing if the series goes to 5 games. He'd pitch in Fenway with the support of the crowd, which is important considering how much of a nutcase he can be on the mound.

    Really, if he is risking further aggravating it, I don't think he should pitch. Sure, this sucks, but what can you do. Bodies are fragile. Hopefully Pedro can carry us.....
