    "Belong" They're a protectorate. Guadeloupe IS France. It's equivalent to Hawaii to us. I understand their own soccer league seeing as how they're 3,000 miles from France, but still. You'd think for a national team, they'd compete under their national heading.

    Guadeloupe has its own separate team? It doesn't fall under France? That's so weird. That's like Hawaii playing separately from the US.

    All valid points. I hadn't even thought about the Trot = death vs lefties problem. I've never been a fan of Trot, so I guess its not fair to compare, but I'd much rather have Drew, even with his shortcomings.

    So this means that we're gonna face Mexico? I'd watch that game. I don't usually follow MLS/Qualifying rounds, but World Cup soccer is so fukin intense.

    You're the only person who consistently uses the table code, I like it. As far as general rookie of the year stuff goes, I think giving it to established foreign players cheapens the meaning. I prefer to see some 23 year old get showered in praise with the award.

    Ps, apparently one of the guys I was with was on TV in the first inning, holding up a hand drawn sketch of Bonds with the heading "steroids" and two tiny baseballs labeled "small balls". Did anyone happen to see that?

    It's been a complete transformation. Where he once looked nervous and scared at the plate, he now stands confident and ready to kick some f***ing ass. Plus he's hitting with a ton more power.
