I know. We're all complaining about work and such tomorrow. The sox have to work tomorrow too, after a 5 hour overnight flight, a late game two nights ago, and this pile of s*** tonight. Man I hope we don't collapse.

Considering a few years back everyone was blaming the Yankee's poor start on the trip to Japan they had to contend with, we're allowed to gripe about the travel involved in our schedule.

I sincerely hope that the combination late game/west coast trip doesn't throw the team entirely out of whack. It would suck to have scheduling cause the team to go into a slide. Hell, I don't know if I'm even gonna make it to gametime.

I thought the suspension was because he made contact with the umpire. He kicked him unintentionally while trying to kick dirt on him. -
Man, do I miss this guy. I'm still unclear as to why his contract wasn't renewed. I came home from school and the games were on a new station (what the hell is this 680 crap) and Trup's voice was missing. I'd come to associate Castiglione's and Trupiano's voices to the point where they were almost indistinguishable to me, and now hearing Castiglione's high pitched yet oh-so-entertaining wail sounds weird next to these new guys. I don't even know the new names. Is it just me, or has Red Sox radio lost something?

I was 20 some years too late, but after reading this article, the similarities between this year's Yankee team and the '65 team seem many. Not to beat a dead horse, but even with all of these comparisons, I still don't feel entirely comfortable with the situation.

http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20070604&content_id=2004195&vkey=draft2007&fext=.jsp Price is projected to go #1 to the D-Rays. I've seen him pitch a couple games for Vanderbilt and let me tell you, he is GOOD. It'll be painful for me to see him pitch against the sox after cheering madly for him or 2 years, but they need to take him. Price + Kazmir alone could make that rotation incredible.
