Fenway Travel Without the Rush

I’m planning a Sox trip and I want to do Fenway the right way instead of just showing up at first pitch and bouncing. The Feb 20 spring opener vs Northeastern already has me thinking baseball again. I plan to catch a regular season game in Boston later and keep the schedule simple: arrive early enough to soak in the park, grab one solid bite nearby and fit in one Boston must do that still works around game time. If you had to pick one best do this and you’ll get the Fenway feel move for a first timer, what would it be?

I'm not a Bostonian, but if I had the time, I'd love to take a walk to see the Revolutionary War historical markers.  Cask & Flagon across the street from Fenway is kind of historical also.
