Hello Sox Fans!

my wife and I are making a trip this summer from Oregon for our first game at Fenway and are looking for the best place to get some pregame beers and food. Any good recommendations?

I may now be too far removed from Boston to answer this question directly and all my go to spots have now closed (RIP Burrito Max and Pour House). However, Boston is very small and walkable. You don't necessarily have to find food or drinks right next to Fenway prior to the game. You can look further out along Newbury St/Back Bay and still be close enough to walk to the game without huffing and puffing.
