Alex Speier of the Boston Globe is reporting that the Red Sox have requested another meeting with Juan Soto to nail down a price point for the superstar services.

It remains to be seen whether the meeting will happen, but it's hard not to be excited about the Red Sox delivering on their promise to do what it takes to build one of the best rosters in baseball.

What is the MAXIMUM years and dollars you'd be willing to give Soto?

I'd say $660/15 ($44M x 15)

I guess, if it took $675M/15, what's another $15M?

If Cohen beats that by enough to balance out the taxes, then so be it. $690 or $700M seems like an overpay on an already major overpay. (I doubt the league agrees to $700M/16. They may not even allow 15 yrs, despite Soto's young age.)
