There's a lot of stats in regards to pitching. The one stat that impresses me the most is WHIP. When a pitcher has a WHIP near 1.00 that informs me that guy is pretty damn good.

 

K/BB is also very good.

 

I like pitchers with high Zone % and low Contact %. That tends me they throw strikes no one can hit…

Pitchers with high zone% and low contact % are headed for the HOF. I like contact pitchers provided most of the time it's weak contact. Even some decent contact is fine when it turns into a GIDP.
