Nah, I think you're giving Cora too much credit, because then one would think he put Cordero at 1st base for the same reason.

Orioles 5 games over .500, Sox about to be 2 under, losing 3 of 4 to KC who was 24 under when this series started. Bloom, Cora, and miscellaneous players need to consider this outcome.

 

With 52 games left, Red Sox will need to go 27-25 to break even , but have not shown the ability to do that since June.

Even the walkoff given up by Whitlock yesterday was to a rookie hitting .180. He was a MiLB terror but should not have been the guy to beat them. It is going 5to be a long set of dog days in August and September with this group.
