Again…. Another genius decision by Cora… let’s throw the guy in there that can’t lob a strike in there! Ohhh and great pickup there Bloomer

It's good that Bloom is building for future...not realizing we're wasting another good year from Devers as an example.

It's been a long day for me. We're down 3-1. If we get swept by the Rays, I'll probably quit watching.

I have no confidence for next year.

Who cares if we jump out to the lead? We've shown that we can blow it and management will sit on their collective asses.

Later boys.

Orlando needs to grow a pair and rid this Team of the journeyman pitching slugs. Robles Davis Perez must go.

No reason not to call on the handful of arms in AA AAA to gain experience and perhaps find a gem

Another stiff traded for today from Cleveland is mind boggling

More butchery in the field.

The Red Sox have the 2nd most errors in MLB

I bet we have double the next team in non-error bad defensive plays.

Robles for CLOSER!

Wow! That was the best Sox relief effort I've seen by anyone not named Whitlock in weeks!

Cora walks on water, again!

The game should be 2-1, but, unfortunately for the SOX, defense is also a big part of the game.

Sloppy defense has hurt the Sox in thee second half in particular.

It's been sloppy all year, but the SOX using MOJO and Magic were able to overcome it for more than half the season.

The Red Sox have 88 errors and the rays have 66, a big difference that has cost the Sox a number of games

This organization really needs to look at the coaches from the farm up! We don’t hit well at all… we can’t even square up low 90’s fastballs on a regular basis. We don’t develop pitchers at all! And can anyone rattle off a few names that our farm system has developed that had mad a difference… a real difference and I’m not talking about the guys who jumped from start up… why can the Rays develop talent and we can’t! Maybe it’s the way we draft!

I think the most amazing thing about the Yankems picking up Rizzo and Gallo was, in a league of so many Latin players, that they were able to acquire 2 Italians. Mamma Mia. Edited by SPLENDIDSPLINTER

One could argue that Buchholz was the last decent starter developed thru their farm, who pitched for the SOX.

Poor Duran looks over-matched. Every time you look up, the count is 0-2 against him.

Duran needs to play full time next year, bat in the ninth spot, give him a few months to make adjustments.

As I said the last Rays series, I do not believe we can beat this Rays team. They are just that much better than we are. If we get one great pitching performance in this series they will win this series 3-1 IMO. If we get lucky we might get a split. We will likely get to the Wild Card and could beat the Yankmees. After that, I just don't see us going anywhere if we even get that far.
