As for the lineup, their problem, very clearly, is Montgomery.

Vazquez, on the other hand, pisses me off. Does he lead MLB in passed balls? Is he thinking about stealing a base when he's catching?

Tanner didn’t do what he was doing well —throwing strikes.

 

The damage was minimal though. Bats need to wake the f*** up specially at clutch moments.

No Sox pitcher can pitch to the outside corner the way Montgomery has against JDM in this at bat. 4 straight on the outside edge, but 2 just missed.
