Another potentially come from behind victory. Those damn blind squirrels.

Allergic to the sweep. They need their other best hitter in the lineup.

Richards barking at the ump about a pitch that was at least two inches high. My fear with Richards is that he will be just short of cracked dome behavior all the way up to a very big game and then explode right out there on the mound.

Great first inning!! Love the long home run by Verdugo and the effort by Richards. He's such a great pitcher and just had some bad luck with those 4 hits. If he can keep the hold the Yankees under to just a run or 2 every inning, I feel sure the Sox can win this because this is such a great lineup.

So if you have the lowest OPS on the team, you get to lead off? Okay Cora.

I'm not complaining, we're winning. That's the formula.

The most frustrating thing about watching baseball is when the pitcher makes a bad mistake and pretty much puts the ball on a tee and the batter doesn't square it up. Just like Renfroe failed to do.

I've yet to see anything nasty from this Yankem pitcher.

For some reason he has been unhittable. He doesn’t even throw that hard. They seemed to struggle against junk ballers.

Gotta love these Sox, always trying. I was sure Rike was going to get a dinger, but maybe his next time up.

And who needs JDM when Santana is available to DH?

Of course, it's only frustrating when the SOX are at the plate.

The only time it bothers me is if the hitter should have been looking for the exact pitch he got in the exact location and MISSES IT. If the hitter is looking for something else, a pitch might look juicy but he will be lucky to hit it at all, never mind hit it well. A poorly located Change (meat on a meat hook) or a totally hung completely awful breaking pitch are about the only exceptions to that rule.
