Very few people your age watch a Sox game with your devotion. So, if you want dog races and/or midgets pinch hitting, I'm for 'em. When I was about 10 years older than you I had an uncle who was about 55, lived in the Boston suburbs (W. Newton) and did not miss a Sox game--or inning, for that matter--on TV. I thought he was nuts.

 

I usually don't watch every game. I'm watching today because it's only the second game all year that I can actually watch on TV. When we play well, I tend to tune in more frequently. When we're playing badly, I still follow the game and will occasionally turn on the radio if something good happens, but I won't be totally consumed with it. I've also been on spring break and sick in bed for much of the last week

Btw, employing yellow jerseys and light blue caps really has nothing to do with attracting younger fans; it has a lot to do with selling more jerseys and caps. Hey, we live in a capitalistic society; money's always the motivator.
