Sox fans are seeing the two different styles and with DD’s history here over the last four off seasons, I can understand the frustration. DD was impulsive. He wanted the best, he got the best, no matter what. Bloom is cool, calculated, no rush, willing to wait even if better deals pass him by. He’s the opposite of DD and will take some getting used to

Like it or not Boston fans have become used to winning. Bloom's style may be fine for low pressure Tampa but it will be a tough sell in the Boston market. The question isn't whether Boston will get used to Bloom but whether he will get used to Boston.

 

BTW and apropos of nothing, I went online to see about additional ST seats. For the first time in the last 6 years there were plenty of good seats available.

If Bloom had a budget to work with and several good prospects to offer, we'd likely have seen deals by now.
