Splendid I'm angry not at Dana at Dave for not firing and replacing this guy 8 weeks ago .

I'd love to believe a new pitching coach is going to turn those 3 underachievers around, but I seriously doubt it.

TD if Dave would can everyone in pitching Development it would be a start .

Outside of E Rod I just don’t trust this rotation. Can’t beliebe we didn’t make a single move.

Jung what does all that tell you hmmmmmm

Telle me Tampa does know how to develop pitching and then deploy it at the ML level.

There are two types of MLB teams as it relates to pitching, those that develop it and those that buy it. I have never really understood why teams that can buy pitching don't just BUY the coaches that would allow them to develop pitching because coaches are cheap and highly rated Starting pitchers are expensive.

But that is just not how it is done. Don't ask me why because the only answer I would have for you is that baseball ops organizations around baseball are not populated by rocket scientists nor brain surgeons either. If it were me, I would just scoop up the coaches and develop pitchers. But that is just me.

Also, just as an aside, development is done below the major league level. So I would not myself blame LeVangie for the lack of pitching development in the Red Sox organization. That decision is above his pay grade while the actual function of developing pitchers is below his pay grade.

I don’t get blaming the pitching coach.

The team President/GM decided to bring back last year’s team right down to the backup first baseman.

But not the bullpen, which he chose to ignore.

Ever since Kimbrel and Kelly left, the only pitchers brought in to replace them Colten Brewer and Josh Taylor,..

Everybody see how Beni struck out? The Rays pitcher threw a fastball and then a slider to the exact same spot spot on the outside corner. When he needed to for an out. The Sox do not have a single pitcher who do that.

Every game is high stress on this offense it's just too damn much to expect .Tne starting rotation has become the laughing stock of MLB

They must be disgusted with the pitching

For all our struggles with the pen.. this kid Taylor has some fight in him.

It’s a sad when I trust the bullpen more than the starters now. Seriously I do. Outside of E-Rod

Exactly .Now why is that ? Way to much freedom and not enough study .

TD question ? What would it matter if they switched places ? Now that's sad because it may be a coin flip

So what you are saying is that he is completely useless. Just getting paid to shoot the s*** in the dugout and bull pen since he can’t even suggest or present tweaking certain pitching mechanics etc.. the truth is that the coaches do that at the major league level. It happens all the time hence, it is commented on during broadcasts.
