Yup. Pinch run and some defense come October. Add him to the 40 man after the trade deadline. This is one weapon we haven’t had in awhile. Gardner actually served this purpose when we won it all in 2009. Having a guy who you can reliably put into a game in the 8th or 9th and turn a walk or single into a double and then score is a big advantage to have.
