Offer the Dodgers a deal they can't refuse.

DD: "I want Ryu."

Dodger GM: "I'm not trading him."

DD: "Either you sign over his contract to me or your brains will be on that contract."

Now there's a deal the Dodger GM can't refuse. Sorry Mario Puzo.

What's this reference? I'm assuming it's a classic movie that I don't know

Is there anybody you do like? Damn

The only teams announcers I have a problem with really are Mariners, Yankees, Orioles, Jays and Rays. I don’t think hawk does White Sox anymore so even they’re fine. Some of those teams it’s only 1 or 2 guys in the booth but they make it unbearable. I listened to Tigers guys last week and they were good.

Fox is by far the worst though. Joe Buck is an Idiot, and his dumb comments about Gary sanchez went way under the radar, and the fact they let AJ in the booth is a shame. He’s really bad

Kids

It’s from The Godfather, although Mario Puzo wrote the novel that inspired the movie.

I will say the one thing that annoys me with ESPN is whatever they do to make the crack of the bat exaggeratedly loud. It sounds like every hit is ripped

Slasher they are auditioning at this point .Alllll of them

I am hoping they want to show us that they are willing to fight for 2019 season. Right now would be the time

They're trying to distract us from how bad the announcers are.

The Godfather. One of the greatest films ever made.

I hate to say it but I've really grown to love Michael Kay and John Sterling. I actually learn stuff whenever I watch or listen to a Yankees game. I love Glen Kuiper and Ray Fossi in Oakland, and Duane Kuiper in San Fran. Orsillo and Mudcat are good in San Diego (not as good as Remy and Orsillo tho). Diamondbacks have a good crew led by a former SportsCenter anchor, and the White Sox crew is led by Jason Benetti, a multipurpose ESPN guy. I love Brian Anderson for the Brewers, as well as everything else he does, and I like the Cubs crew. Of course I love OB, Eck, and Remy. I miss Castiglione and O'Brien a ton. I think Keith Hernandez is very underrated for the Mets as well

Considering the only Star Wars film I've seen was the original as part of a film study class, that shouldn't come as a surpise

Excuse me but I'm no kid, and I'm actually offended being called kid, because people in my life keep treating me like one

This is humiliating listening to Fenway cheer for the Didgers ? What the hell happened to us ?

Last night when I was there it was probably 30% Dodgers. Sox fans are still there, but road team fans that travel in bunches tend to be louder to make themselves heard. Especially when they are playing well

I don’t have a chance to consistently listen a lot of those teams, but I get off around 10 pm a lot on week days and I’ll sometimes put a random west coast game and I feel as if most, of not all of the west coast teams have good announcers. Only exception is mariners, the main play by play guy is really annoying and biased.

It happens when a team like that with a yuuuge fan base comes to Fenway once every 6 seasons. Their fans (like ours) travel and are vocal supporters.

Dodgers have best record in baseball and are one of most popular teams. It’s still majority Sox fans, but the Dodgers fans do travel well.

At one point back when I had more time on my hands, I would try to watch every highlight from A's, Padres, Diamondbacks, and Yankees games just to hear those crews

I would say they're the 2nd most recognizable team/brand in the world among baseball teams. We're probably 3rd on that list
