How many rough patches does this team need to survive this year ? It looks like we broke through JBJr's, but now we have Beni, betts and JDM ( to a degree), Sale, Barnes, orcello, Brasier. Getting weary of watching the rough spots.

Beni at least draws walks and usually hits for average, Renfroe literally only homers or K's. Renfroe has 79 career walks in 4 seasons. Beni walked 71 times in one season a lot. Renfroe has career average of .245 and OBP of .299. He hits for a lot of power, but I wouldn't give up Beni for him.

 

Who would ??? That's stupid !! Renfroe would be great a Fenway but I'd want a max Scherzer with Benny headlining it trade.I still believe in Benny but he needs to be much better .

Numerous people are saying they would. I'm against trading Beni, unless we are getting legitimate pitcher back.

The problem with the Red Sox and Renfroe to me is this; Renfroe is too good for the prospects we have available for trade, and not good enough to deal major league talent like Beni for. I don't see a trade working for him, especially when Padres don't need to move him, he's under team control 4 more years, has numerous teams interested, etc.

I highly respect your opinion along with Moon ,Notin ,A700 on our prospects .Renfroe is a fit for second level prospects just may cost 3 of them .JB his swing is made for Fenway .
