How many pitches has price thrown? Looks like a bullpen game soon.

 

Right around 60. Should be able to go 6 unless something bad happens

Don't want to be Debbie Downer, but during the same time frame, the SOX could have purchased Scherzer for the same price they spent on Price. Oh, well, one can't change the past.

 

Well Scherzer just broke his nose. Hindsight is always 20/20

Was in St. Louis last night at Cards/Marlins game, following Sox game on my phone. Had to go back to last night's game thread to read the comments when Brewer was pitching. LOL! Classic. I was thinking the same things as I sat there.

Yankees had great chemistry without Stanton, Judge and Encarnacion. They may take a while to jell. Sometimes too many good players don't always make a good team...see this year's Celtics team.
