Even if they knew before the game, the flu f***ing sucks, and is a pain in the ass to deal with when at home, I can’t imagine pitching in MLB with it. I’m still not 100% sold that’s all this was.

Thats the point. He would have been throwing cow dung out in his warmups with the flu. If he is that weak, you don't put him on the mound. I don't believe it. I will hope for it. But I don't believe it. Plus Price winced and shook his arm. What the hell does the flu have to do with that?

I hope it’s just the flu, but I doubt it. If it was the flu, I’m assuming he was going to try just pushing through it and trying to help the team, but I guess felt way too s***** after less than an inning. I’d imagine pitching with the flu in hot, humid Texas isn’t the best idea.
