I can see his point, I’m glad they awarded the run but it does make sense to call an overturned HR as a ground rule double instead of a straight double, which would have moved Kinsler to third rather than home.
The play that I wonder about is the ball down the line that stays in the park that the umps call foul, but that gets overruled as fair. If it is a line drive and the batter doesn't run because the foul call is made, placing the runners can become a very difficult decision. Would NY place the runners or would the umps?

Sorry I regret. I don’t want Wright in the 25 men roster, regardless the result of this inning. He is time bomb waiting to explode. Edited by iortiz

God damn what a trash bullpen. Deplorable.

You would think they could turn things around but they’re consistently bad. It’s a joke.

And this against a team that does not run. You want to see Wright late in a game against a team that runs even a little.

Nobody runs xcept Cleveland, rest are snails.

The Astros run good enough to make you pay for balls zooming over the catcher's head...past the catcher's glove...whatever

I'm talking about running teams. Houston, Yanks, and Oakland don't run.

Brasier made the post season roster a week ago. The only reason Poyner might be in question is because they keep waiting for Pom to do something to justify his money. Does not appear it will happen though.

I understand that. But the context is Wright late in games...not generally stealing bases. The Astros run good enough, are athletic enough to make us pay for Wright's usual nonsense if he is used late in games.

Houston has 64 stolen bases, Yanks 60. Balls over Catchers head, not too hard to make 2nd base.

And once they get to 2nd base or 3rd base is it not easier to get those runners home on a sac fly or some other effort by the offense, especially a decent offense?
