I don't get how Altuve is out there, but alright.

Also, A-Rod is so f***ing annoying, Jesus.

It's because there wasn't enough evidence. If the ump called safe the sox would have been screwed cause again there wouldn't of been enough evidence

OH even with ESPN audio off I could tell that look at greatest Astros moments of this game was some dripping with gush, creaming in their pants BS about the Astros. Thank God I missed the audio on that.

The play by play guy is okay. Not great, but okay. Agree 100% on ARod. I can take or leave Mendoza; she was okay at first but she doesn’t add much.

Really prefer the midweek guys. Can’t think of the play by play guys but both Herschiser and Perez are good.

Actually, you have to be kidding with your complaint. Wright is a bonafide long reliever whom the Astros haven't seen much of and who hasn't pitched in this series. In the actual event, he pitched well and got screwed by Phillips error on an ill-advised throw to 1B. Then Bogie did his best to screw him on an easy throw home that was way, way high. The only thing wrong with Wright in the 7th was the Sox defense, which was pathetic.

Correct, he is a bonafide long reliever, not a guy you need with runners on in a tie game in the 7th. Too many chances to throw it right past the catcher for one thing which he has already done once this inning if you have not noticed and too many chances that just coming in to the game the knuckler does not knuckle and its out on the Mass Pike somewhere.

I actually looked that up. The DH can only be used for the pitcher. Dumb rule.

Very good point. For really optimum baseball I think every team should be allowed up to 50 on the roster so that the defense doesn't have to bat and the offense doesn't have to field. If that's too much, maybe three DH's instead of the measly 1 each team has.

The play by play guy is fine. Mendoza is just mediocre, but A-Rod is just bad, and not because of his Yankee ties or anything, but Jesus, he never shuts up, and its mostly just sucking off Alex Bregman.

That is not optimal baseball. Baseball is a multidimensional game. If you want a league like that, start it, call it something else and knock your mind out.

Didn't you watch the inning? Haven't you been watching the game and the series, for crying out loud? Wright was fine when Hembree, Johnson, Kelly, and Brasier (Friday night) gave two games away--although thanks to Wright the Sox still have a shot in this game.

Yea I have been watching. You don't bring a knuckler into the 7th inning of a tie game unless you have suicidal tendencies. Once in Brasier should have stayed in for the next inning as opposed to bringing in Wright there. But it hardly matters. WE HAVE NO PEN that can handle anything other than clean innings and even THAT will be a challenge for these guys in post season play.

How are you liking Wright here. You liking this! Think we get through many cardiac late innings like this in the post season?

Since Wright started the 7th, how did he come in with runners on?

And I like Wright here. At least he looks like he wants to be out there.

Kimbrel will pitch the 9th no matter what happens in the bottom of the 8th.

No, you haven't been watching the game. Wright came in with a clean inning and no one one base. He's now pitched two scoreless innings. By the way, I'm just defending Cora's move/decision. Has it ever occurred to you he might know more than you?

And I have no issue with Wright.

I was going to post something else and did not correct the sentence before posting. If you look you will see that I already edited it ala...should not have brought in Wright there. We have no pen and a knucler does not belong in the 7th inning of a tie game particularly against a good team.

Has it occurred to you that Cora is poking around looking for something that might work? Hasn't found it yet has he.
