X is having a tremendous year. From two weeks before the ASB to today save the period he was out with the hand injury somebody needs to show me how there has been a better Shortstop in MLB. Haven't seen everybody over that time. But X has just played too good.

He threw a center cut FB in the zone that ended up in the BP as a souvenir.

Well that happens when you fall behind. A player expects a fastball.

They gotta hit this guy. Jays didn’t show up to the Bronx this weekend. Their pitcher can’t even get out of the first inning.

The Jays, like the O's, the Royals, the White Sox, the Tigers, are s*** teams that good teams should beat on a regular basis.

There's nothing the Yankes can do being 10.5 games back. Relax

I would start to think about whether the bat is starting to get a little heavy in Mookies hands and if they might want to scale him back preparing for the post season.

Thanks to NESN's Jahmai for explaining exactly how bad the pitching coaching in Boston varies from the Rays, allowing Beeks to have a very quiet inning. No question that the pressure of a championship level team is different from playing for a small market loser for a young unconfident guy

You can talk about pressure but if this guy goes 5 shutout innings against us it’s gonna look embarrassing.

Well we have 4 with the Guardians coming up. I wouldn’t say never. Our schedule gets a little tougher coming up.

Beeks won't be the 1st player to excel in a small market environment. Although, to be honest, I'd rather the SOX had traded POM than Beeks. I believe that's called an understatement, signed Captain Obvious.

Beginning with the first inning 4 run gift yesterday through 3 today, the Sox hitters are asleep with little interest in denting the wall. WTFU.

A good comment in any case. The opposite is also true--a big market team signing an FA from Podunk can often choke on his chicken dinner. See Crawford, Carl.

Yup, 1978 never happened. It was an illusion.

Anybody know if they are really getting Judge back or is he done for the year?
