Dan Butler is not a bad Catcher. All these kids that are Pitching tonight he knows them well.

I think it's fair to question Butler. Yesterday he was catching and the Sox pitchers gave up 12 runs. Tonight everyone who's pitched has struggled to some degree and on both days he and the pitcher have times when they're not on the same page. It can be said that he's 0-2.

Barnes, Kelley, who else he probably hasn't caught in years. Eovaldi, probably never caught him. Workman, and Brasier, gave up no runs.

Isn't Chris Davis the guy who got suspended for PED's a few years back and then claimed that what caused the positive test was one of the side effects of Ritalin (or something like that) that had been prescribed by his doctor?

Pomeranz needs to be used in every trash and mop up situation from now until the end of September or until his weak ass, 88 mph fastball throwing arm falls off. The Sox need to squeeze every bit of that 8 million charity check he is getting out of him. His sole purpose is to save the bullets of the real pitchers for the playoffs.

PED are only helpful if one can actually hit the ball.

This may be nothing more than wishful thinking, but POM wouldn't be the 1st starter to become a very successful relief pitcher. Just look at the ECK.
: Pomeranz should never be in the same sentence with a H.O.F.er like the Eck.

A ridiculous excuse worked for Peyton Manning.

I'm sorry I root for 31 year old Catchers, from Pawtucket. Hope he hits a HR and wins it.

No need to be sorry; I think he's doing a good job and he just drove in the tying run. We're lucky to have the guy.

I'm getting the O's feed and I have no problem with Gary Thorne. I think he's a good play-by-play guy. But it's got to be tough to do these games with such a terrible team as the O's. Gary is definitely a professional. He's been around the block awhile.
