It was a great weekend but it’s over. Just keep winning series. Yankees have a crappy schedule ahead.

 

The Sox can't get over confident or get ahead of themselves. They have to stay grounded and take it one game at a time.

There's a slight difference between acknowledging who your likely playoff opponents are, and declaring one team "the team to beat". The WEEI hosts were basically saying that Houston is on paper right now the most dangerous team in a short series (maybe assuming they get their injured back), hence they are 'the team to beat'.

 

Statistically speaking, they are right. But at this point, it's close enough that I'm no longer willing to say that the Astros are the team to beat.
