Defensively, he is not going to get better. The skills are there or aren’t. He doesn’t have the required skills and body to handle the 3B

I like to believe that you are wrong.

I like what Mike Lowell said about him. He said Devers has all the tools to be great at 3rd. He just needs repetition.

Devers will of course get better. The question, as always, does the kid have the sack to WORK at it. I love the kid, but I have no idea about his work ethic?

I just don't know? Anybody have info on the kid?

Cora has been asked about this and he has said that the kid is working really hard in practice to get better.

It seems that you are right? I just don't know for sure. We will see. Maybe more Pollo & cerveza?

f***ing Bruins have their heads up their arsses

This series is so much closer than what it looks. Bruins have been in every game. Just too many slow starts are catching up to them.

Leon makes up for his lapse on the bases with a 3-run HR.

I didn't see it as a lapse. Close play on a perfect throw right to the bag without a bounce.

Now that's funny ;)

Getting thrown out at 3rd as the 3rd out of the inning is a huge baseball no-no, even both the Red Sox and Rangers announcers said it was dumb.

My bad! Sandy is said to have had the green light on that go to 3rd. Apparently, he has even been taking on Kelly and Swi in 100 yd dash drills? Whodathunkit?

Weird fact

Sandy is said to have been working with Panda in the off-season on his pitching.

In return, Pablo has been working with Sandy on his speed game.

My prediction ....

If Price gets ROCKED, which is likely, he goes on the DL for 3 months ? ? ?

Sorry ! That's ju s t how I see it.

No f***ing worries!

I'm ok with Sale, Porcello, V-Quez, Pom, E-Rod, & Wright.

Rob Bradford

3m

Observation: Chris Sale clearly working quicker with Leon than he had with Vazquez

If I'm Cora, I'm going to let Sale continue to pitch to Leon. They seem to have a comfort level that Sale and Vaz just don't have yet.

Great win! Great series!

Yes ...and a better pitcher likely Velasquez takes his spot ...I hope to never see Johnson start ever again.

The most unthinkable. There is hope yet for JBJ if Sandy can do that.

Yup watch JBJ look all world against NY ....facts are facts Sandy Leon sucks and JBJ does not .

Sale was great, today.

Nice win.

Too bad the Yanks rallied to pull out the win after being down 4-0 in the 8th.

Hopefully I’m dead wrong my friend, I just don’t see core skills to handle that corner.

Can anyone truthfully say they've seen any defensive improvement over last year?

Way I look at it if your going to give JBJ a chance to improve his hitting, you got to give especially one that is 22 years in his First Full year in the Majors a chance too, to improve his Defense.

Nobody is saying we should bench him or move him to 1B or DH this year.

Have you seen any improvement at all? Just curious.

How many errors do we have? How many from Devers and Nuñez?

Don’t get me wrong, I love Devers, but at 3B he is exposed. I think he will be our future 1B.

Pedroia will improve our infield.

His DWAR right now is .2.
