I use to hate Toronto. I don't like them much now, but they haven't won in a long time. I like the City of Toronto, always a great place to visit.

Pomeranz gives up his homerun ball a game. I'm not venting at all, so don't take this the wrong way. But Pomeranz had one good relief outing in the last game against the Jays where 2 balls got caught at the warning track, and they thought he could pitch out of the pen. I understand he did it before, but was and still is a iffy move.

It could be argued that Farrell should have managed with more urgency and removed him after the lead off walk, always an ominous sign.

 

This goes back to the failure of Clay Buchholz. I was hoping he would give the Red Sox a big start and carry them to victory. But he didn't have it in him. Of course, the same could be said for Price and Porcello.
