Help Me Be a Stat Geek

I want to learn how to look up more stats than I do already. I'm hoping some of you can help me.

 

I strictly use espn and http://www.baseball-reference.com. Some things I want to look up I don't think are on those sites, or I don't know how to find them.

 

I'd like to look up the Sox BABIP compared to other teams. Does anyone know how to look that up? What site do you use?

Usually I rotate between fangraphs, yahoo, espn, and baseball reference. Fangraphs and Baseball reference have a lot of detailed statistics, yahoo has general statistics, game logs and split stats (v LHP, hitting stats in different parks). Baseball America has the minor league stats.

It's incredible what kind of stats you can find out there. For stats, my two sites of choice are Fangraphs and Baseball Reference. Between those two sites, I have been able to find pretty much everything that I've looked for.
