Allen Craig worries me. Doesn't look anything like the hitter he was last year. Joe Kelly is looking like the better player we got in the deal. The Cardinals knew this guy was damaged goods and dumped him off to us. He has been putrid this year and I hope the sox keep him on a short leash next year. If he continues to struggle next year right off the bat I don't care what he did prior to 2014. He shouldn't be playing.

I love MY RED SOX, have my entire life and I always will. Haven't stopped watching, just stopped posting. I guess this place is a good place for people to vent. But TalkSox sucks. As does seabeachfool Is he still polluting this place? And I see a lot of the bitching moaning whining ass weaklings are still out here? BORING. Some great posters still posting as well.

Said it before, will say it again: I'm not impressed at all with the trades. I don't think Cespedes is great anyway, but the contract status, if he walks, makes it even more ridiculous.

Based on the little that I have seen of Craig with the Red Sox, it is hard to believe that he had been a good hitter. He looks clueless at the plate.

The Cardinals aren't stupid. They wouldn't trade there best hitter in 2013 and a pitcher for john lackey. I know they are high on oscar taveras, but if they thought craig could be like he use to be there is no way in hell they would have given him and joe kelly to us for lackey.

I have had some Spudboy luck since Sunday. My cable system lost 20 channels apparently when Time Warner had a problem on the East coast. I lost all of the sports channels for two days!!!!! I could not watch the Sox on NESN!!!!!

 

Maybe this is why the Sox have won two in a row???
