The events that have transpired since the removal of AJ Pierzynski have made it evident to me that he was the problem holding this team back, and ,now that he's gone, we will go on a historic run that ends with our second consecutive division title and a repeat as World Series champions.

 

I base this off of the fact that we haven't lost since AJ was taken behind the barn and I know of no evidence that suggests this will change.

This definitely does not feel like a RedSox game by NESN!

 

Indeed I don't like this play by play dude. He did color a little bit last year when remy was out and I didn't like him.

Went back-packing through Afghanistan and wound up as Bowe Bergdahl's cellmate. Not fun.
probably not less fun than the Red Sox while you were gone.

I am loving this game right now. We are doing things that we haven't done since last year. Granted, we are playing the Astros.

JBJ has made good adjustment to big league pitching. Now it's Xander turn.

 

Indeed plus the defense has been there. Xander has nothing going for him now.

This guy Holt is impressive.

 

Yes he is.

 

I like his approach at the plate. He has smart at bats.

 

I wonder if he will sustain his current level of production? I did not expect him to keep batting .341 and now he is "down" to .309.

 

I hope that he can end up batting over .270 with an OBP of .350 or so.

 

I miss Ellsbury much less now.
