When you give up zero walks, it really doesn't hurt you that much.
That is right, but he has had a penchant for the long balls this season. HRs are way up by Buch this year, and it doesn't look like he has straightened that out during his absence.

The Sox need to get Victorino back and another OFer. Nava and Gomes need to be a strict platoon. Gomes can't hit righties. Period. Nava is much better from the left side. They can be useful as a platoon. Neither is an everyday player.

It was a bit concerning but I thought over all Clay looked good and comfortable out there. We haven't had an answer for Seattle in this series. Clay have us a decent chance to win.

The three homers were bad but overall I was pleased and pleasantly surprised seeing Clay pitch a rather decent game. I think he should never have gone out in the 8th inning so I will chalk that HR to Farrell trying to test his luck. How come every win lately seems like a WS Title? Well I will take it.

Like I was wrong when I started three threads and was on the money all times, like when I was the only one here who insisted all along that the Red Sox were going to break down and sign Drew. You're beyond dumb
