Mujica? Mujica should not be coming in to pitch in a tied ball game farrell. Are you trying to make us lose?

Still not seeing what people see in Jackie.

I agree. He's got a slow, long swing. He makes the bat look too heavy for him. He hasn't proved to be a stealing threat at all. Certainly isn't a threat to go deep. His defense is good but it doesn't matter if he can barely hit 200.

It's seems silly. People love him because he had a good spring, last year. But, when given a shot in the majors, he has not done much.

No, people like JBJ because both scouts and a significant statistical sample predicted he would a great defensive player (which he is) and an offensive asset ( which he hasn't been). Saying it's because he had a good spring is revisionist history, and dumb at that. And even worse, the guy still doesn't have more than half-a-season in the Majors. I could name 30 guys who are currently productive regulars in MLB who took even more time to settle in at the MLB level.

He doesn't show any promise. I'll give you time to get a groove. But, show me some sign that you aren't just a minor league all-star. So far, his numbers in the majors are pathetic.

Yeah, but that's neither here nor there. Different players take different amounts of time to adjust to MLB pitching. Do you know how much and for how long Carlos Gomez sucked at the MLB level before becoming a superstar?

No, I don't know how long it took Carlos Gomez to become a superstar. But, I'm guessing a while or else you'd choose not to use that as a example. But, I'm sure he showed a lot more bright spots than Jackie is right now. I'll give the kid atleast a half season before I call him a career minor league player. But, I'm still don't see it.

I see what your saying, but the guy is 24. Carlos Gomez had better stats when he was 24. Ells hit .282 and had 50 stolen bases when he was 24. Xander is 21 and he is much further ahead offensively. Pedroia won an mvp at 24. Sure he hasn't even had like 300 at bats, but how long should the sox wait for him to show some promise offensively?

Bradley is only hanging on because of his defense. Victorino's injury will buy him some time but they can't continue to carry his horrible hitting.

I'm sure the FO isn't overly concerned about what we as fans "see".

24 is young, and he still has less than a half-year of experience. If he hasn't turned it on when the weather fully warms up, then the Sox should start looking at other options.

I'm with you on that one.

I"m not too mad we only have one hit since the first inning. Anytime you can get five runs with the lineup they put out today vs even a struggling david price is good.

Bradley is not THE reason why the Sox are losing so much.

If the Vets were performing up to their career norms I suspect few people would complain about JBJ.

He isn't the reason. But, it doesn't help replacing a guy like Jacoby Ellsbury, with a rookie hitting a .204 average and has a .297 on base percentage.
