10/13: ALCS Game 2 vs Tigers

Apparently Ben Zobrist is about to be a free agent. Wouldn't mind scooping him up.

 

He'll probably be a CC type. Good in Tampa, awful here.

And tomorrow is a travel day. He could burn the whole pen tonight and it wouldn't matter.

This may turn into the classic story of the good regular season team that is just not a good post season team yet. Simply no margin for error in these post season games against really good teams and that is not how we have played these games.

 

OK so in the end the Tigers may turn out to be the better team but we are getting beaten like we don't belong on the same field with the Tigers at least not under the intense scrutiny and pressure of post season play.

 

Maybe they will loosen up and just play. Can't do worse than they are doing.

It would be nice to add a power bat. Middlebrooks and Xander are too big of unknowns. I almost want to move WMB to first and resign Drew.
