The relatively pedestrian CJ Wilson (nice hair though) (4-4,3.93)

Damn it blame BSN07. Also i have to go out in a bit. My mojo is early-creation proof!

I take it that this is the Second Game thread since I was thinking of starting it myself. No matter; we need to win this game and we need a spark. Clay is our ace and our stopper and he first of all needs to keep the bases as empty as possible while his teammates go out and get him five or six runs. Then we can have a real rubber game tomorrow.

I will predict a win for the Red Sox in the second game by something like 5 or 6 to 2. Now get it done guys.

Victorino activated, Bradley sent down

Posted by Matt Pepin, Boston.com Staff June 8, 2013 06:02 PM

The Red Sox announced they've officially activated Shane Victorino prior to the second game of their doubleheader vs. the Angels, a move manager John Farrell suggested was possible earlier Saturday.

Victorino is in the starting lineup in center field tonight. Jacoby Ellsbury, who started the first game in center, was not in the starting lineup for the nightcap.

Jackie Bradley Jr. was optioned to Triple A Pawtucket to make room for Victorino.

Cafardo and now McCarver... Worst double header commentary ever.... McCarver is the absolute worst, just babbles non stop about nothing and forgets what he's talking about half the time.

I actually really like the Fox broadcast. It reminds me of the post season for some reason.

I like Buck, can't stand the drooling gasbag that sits next to him. He's Joe Morgan bad in my book.

I don't like McCarver, Buck and am SO glad Joe Morgan is gone. Buck has gotten better but he was a tool in 2003/2004. Hard for me to forget that s***. Thank Christ that McCarver is retiring after this season.

Nice job Clay!
