Probably. I'm sure Farrell has his reasons, it just surprised me considering that Gomes trashes left handers.
I am hoping that Farrell has a positive effect on Lester, Buch and John "Chicken and Beer" Lackey, but as a manager, I think we will see fairly early on that the guy is a dumbass.

I have a generally low opinion of managers. It not limited to Farrell. It's rare where you find a manager with an IQ beyond double digits.

 

BTW, you still owe me on a sig bet from last season. You disappeared for months, but I didn't forget.

I think there are more open dates in April because of potential rain outs.

 

Yeah, but why on the 2nd day of the season? Should schedule 3 games ina row, then have off day if they're worried about rain/snow outs.

 

Also, there's nothing wrong with a midseason double header...

They schedule the off day after because they want to make sure people who purchase opening day tickets get to see the first game of the season if there is a rain out.

Don't know, but I know that's why they do it for teams like the Red Sox where the opening day demand is really high

Does anyone know where I can watch this game online? Firstrowsports requires stream torrent for most baseball games (not NFL games tho) so I cant get it streaming there.
