I have never seen such poor division series play in general and have never seen such a pathetic single series as the O's/Yanks series. How much badness can they fit into one short series?

What's so bad about it? Every single game in this series has been close which make's them much more entertaining then watching blowouts.

Too bad we were in no position to be competitive this season. This division would have been a cakewalk for a real team.

Yeah winning 95 games and having the best record in the AL is such a cakewalk.

What's bad about it? Neither one of these teams could hit a ball off a f***ing tee.

So you'd rather see poor pitching and watch both teams score 10+ runs?

Yeah, you were the least s***** of 5 s***** teams. Anyway, you pay for what you get and Showalter is about 5 minutes from going back into obscurity.

In this case the hitting is so bad that its making the crappy pitching look good.

I'd like to see the yankees not go to the ALCS

That's not what you said yesterday.

If the O's don't score here, I hope they get crushed next game

Up till now, it's been A-Rod's fault. Now it's the manager's fault for allowing him to ever step up to the plate. There's absolutely ZERO reason to stick with him. Let him rest up till the start of '13.

This series represents the worst division series baseball I have seen in my entire lifetime. Unfortunately for me....that represents a lotta' baseball. These two teams have been utterly feeble in every way. Both of these starting pitchers should have been knocked into the showers about the 3rd inning at best and there has been all of three plays in four games worth mentioning compared to mistake after mistake after mental error and in some cases complete indifference for that matter.

The play in left tonight by McClouth and the two HR's by Ibanez. The rest of the time you can call out a mental error of some sort or a physical error about every half inning.

And Swisher comes through again....NOTTTTT...need I say more.

And Yankees boot the ball and SS and it just goes on and on and on...what a joke of a series.

And Ford trips over his shoelaces. I think it is actually pretty funny that anybody things this is how post season baseball should be played.

Amazing....game on the line and once again...nobody comes out to make sure Wieters and Oday are on the same page against the hottest hitter the Yanks have...maybe even the only hitter they have that can hurt the O's....another instance where Joe Torre's pitching coach would have been out there faster than Ichiro going down the line.

Reds-Giants? Another terrible series. Maybe one game not hallmarked by endless mental errors and poor play. I have said repeatedly that this is the worst division series play in general across the division series that I have seen in any year by a wide margin. Have said it in this thread and in the general 2012 post season thread. However this O's Yanks series is the worst of the worst and that again by a wide margin.

This game will end the way most of us I am sure expect it to end.....a short porch LF Yankee HR will mercifully end this mess.

Davis and Jones both better not even fly back to Baltimore....just go home....hopefully Baltimore is not home for either one of them.

Strop was desperately trying to give Swisher a chance to end the game right there and Swisher almost got it done.

Can't believe Ford never adjusted to where they were pitching him. Kept pounding him outside in exactly the same spot and Ford never got the bat on plain with the ball.

Also totally shocked by efforts to pull balls on the outer third when it would be so easy to just dump the ball into right field. Ford at least tried to go with the pitch but so many of these guys have just hacked and hacked to pull even with balls on the outer third...sillier still since LF is not as short a shot in the Stadium as RF.

This reminds me of the playoff series that the Yankees have played the Twins in past year. The opponent keeps it close and gives us hope, but the ending is always the same-- the yankee opponents with their heads hanging in defeat. It's a wast of time for us. I wont wast anymore of my sleep watching this crap.

Must not be anybody left for Buck...I would not trust Strop here at all....would not be surprised to see this the LF short porch HR inning.

Good thing for the O's that Jeter is up with two outs cause the only other way the Yanks can score besides the short porch HR is a Jeter hit Ichiro gives himself up to get him over and somebody somehow gets him in. Two outs at least prevents that.
