Strop has just been terrible lately. You can see his heart throbbing in his throat. I think if Buck wants to win this game he has to get Strop out of there. He is simply not able to pitch in these sorts of situations, at least not right now.

Was Iggy's one hit an infield hit? I have not seen him get the ball out of the infield. I have seen three of these flairs so far which might be as close as he has come to a hit. I just have never seen such a string of weak plate appearances.

I don't want him as the Sox' future SS. I want Bogaerts. I might not mind Iglesias as a Pokey Reese style defensive replacement, but even Pokey could hit a *LITTLE*.

Iglesias will have some real value if he can become good enough to get an obp of around .325, because his defense is so stellar. But I have serious, serious doubts that he'll ever get to that level.

He's about to blow it.

He would be the cat's cock in the NL west.

I can't even look. The spankee$ have been so effing lucky this season with no great teams in the division.

Buck pulled Strop which had to be tough. Basically saying I can't trust you to get one out which is in fact correct in these situations at this point. He just can't even maintain reasonable consistency in his pitching motion. He is like a jitterbug out there. Bad time for him to fall apart like this.

Manny Machado. This team is about to claim top spot in the division.

God I wish we were still a contender, this division is not what it used to be.

That slow infield in Baltimore hurt them this time. Swisher hit what could have been a double play ball that the O's could not turn. 5-4, one out, two on and Tex up

Showing highlights of this mess of a game. dice looks like somebody is punching him in the gut as home run balls go zooming over his head. Talk about nothing pitches.

Ells has such a pop gun arm. That is one thing I really wish was different about him. What a pop gun for an arm. They showed that throw he made to home where he reared back from middle depth CF and once again (remember last year) got it to the pitchers mound. Bounced off that erratically. Every time he throws it looks like a change up. He rears back, looks like he is getting his body behind the ball and.......it goes nowhere. Actually he never does really get his body into a throw. He throws his body to the side and it ends up being all arm which means it ends up being nothing.

Horseface slid into 1st thinking he would beat the throw by a nose...ha ha ha ha ha ha. The way he landed he might actually be a gelding now ha ha ha ha ha ha

He's such a strong kid too. Someone should teach him how to throw. He thinks he can just power the ball home with s***** throwing mechanics.

I don't know how he got to throwing the way he does. I can't imagine multiple coaches and staffs looking at that thing and not attempting during his development as a player to get him to keep his body behind the ball. Once you get used to throwing the wrong way it is really tough to break that. Heck I would have probably tried to shame him into it really early on. "Ells do you know you throw like a girl....in fact you throw like a girl with a weak arm."

Tex slid into first thinking that the smooth surface of those gigantic Bababooey like choppers would slide across the dirt and to safety.. It was either that or his buddy's plan of just slapping the ball out of the first baseman's glove.
