Usually after a monster offensive performance, they can't hit jack s*** the next day. Super frustrating.

Atleast tomorrow is an off day and they can hold off another day. Or maybe they can put together a consistent stretch of offense like they are capable of.

Even if they are going nowhere this season, they have to make some kind of statement against the team that passionately celebrated last year's final demise on the field last September.

 

If this team has any pride whatsoever they will show up in Baltimore.

Unfortunately I didn't get to see the game. to bad, looks like it was a solid effort from the entire team. Solid game from Lester which is nice to see. He needs something to get his confidence back.

Let's not forget that the 2 teams have a history dating back to last year with the fight and Schowalter's comments at the beginning of the season.

 

Frankly, their act has gotten old quickly for me. They should be thankful to be where they are on the standings at this point. They haven't lost an extra inning game yet this season and they have defied their run differential all season in the standings.

 

Maybe its just me, but I don't see any vast improvements to any particular area of their team compared to last year and yet they keep winning games.

Everybody, be cautioned. Beckett goes on Tuesday, but it looks good if he can snap out of his funk like Lester did today.

I am way short of the number of times that I mentioned the 7 run rule in the last 2 years.

 

We are golden with 14 runs.

The rotation is the broken record.....the needle bouncing at the same spots as the platter turns every time.....fail....fail....fail....fail...Buch....fail....fail....fail....fail....Buch. Every once and awhile there is a glimmer of hope generally provided by the generosity of some poor schmuck team that can barely stay out of the basement of its division but can fight our Sox to a series draw.
