Dream team ... Now or then?

Could the NBA put together a team now that could rival the original dream team? I say no and any team put together now would lose by 15+ pts

 

 

Edit: wow, during the tournament of Americas.. Jordan had the lowest fg% on the team at .547... What a bum Lol

Paul, Wade, James, Durant, Howard/Love could definitely give that team a game.

Yeah, they could give them a run, but I think it would be more equal to compare an all 96/97 team (just an example, not a year in particular) vs an all 2011-12 team.

From the roster I've seen, there will be no Howard, and no Rose. I don't think the matchup would be close at all, really.

I'm sorry, but there's no one in the league that can matchup with a backcourt of magic and mj..... Bird ( a lot of people don't realize, Was a do-it-all player ) 30-9-6 while shooting .527/.916/.414.....hmmm funny ( same numbers as lebron, but shot way better ) wasn't much of a dunker, so the young'ens don't give him much respect...

And you'd be hard-pressed you find a front court more physical than Barkley and Ewing!! Lol

 

Hell, idk if they'd win, but I think the reserves could give today's elite a good game..?

for defensive purposes, the dream team would probably play pippen over bird to matchup against durant or lebron.....but the dream team would have 1 guy under 6'8" ( MJ ) size alone ( nvm skill ) todays players would be at a disadvantage
