I didnt see anything this so ,i hope this is fine.

 

The thread is about the roster.More so a discussion and thoughts on it.

 

So i read an article and saw the transactions,with recent moves. Jacoby being put on the 60 Day DL and McDonald going on the DL. They have called up Nava,Gomez,Middlebrooks.Added Byrd to the roster along with other relievers.

 

Now to the question of what to do when the bulk of those who are able to return come back.

 

Kevin Youk,Carl Crawford,Jacoby would get there spots back as they have said. Daisake is due back ,along with Andrew during mid season.

 

Plus a few others on the dl would make the outfield packed. To me i think 5 outfielders is fine.So keep nava and get rid of byrd and McDonald?

 

 

So along with all that Whose ones to be traded,cut,designated to make room when the team is 100% healthy that it can be this season.

Trade Youk whenever he comes back, maybe the Rangers will give us Uehera for him (We will eat a chunk of his salary) and use Youk as a 1st baseman.

 

MacDime will be DFA'd whenever he recovers, I'd DFA Nava over Byrd when CC comes back.
